DURATION: 75 minutes
Gain new insight on developing social-emotional learning (SEL) that is culturally responsible and responsive. Educators invested in SEL that want to ensure such practices are developed and presented in ways responsive to youth will be provided research-based examples and resources to ensure a framework that is equitable for all. Participants will look over, discuss, and question SEL competencies that reflect issues of equity. Participants will walk away with new strategies to begin partaking in immediately.
