Senior Support Program Coordinator
Hannah Hibbs (she/her, they/them), Senior Support Coordinator - Foundation for Tacoma Students. Hannah is an education equity advocate with a passion for post secondary success. They have been working in service of youth for over 10 years: in their younger years as a camp counselor, in college as a peer mentor, as an Americorps member working in alternative education, as a young professional they worked as a financial aid counselor and TRiO advisor, and now they are in their second term as the Senior Support project coordinator with FFTS. Hannah strives to center the student/youth experience in their work and brings this energy to the Senior Support work at FFTS. . When they aren’t working, they can be found snuggling with their dog Charlie, streaming Stardew Valley on Twitch, or knitting while binge watching Korean dramas.
What’s Next connects multiple community partners directly with Tacoma School District seniors navigating their post-secondary pathway of choice. Explore how to optimize and prioritize data collection in relation to immediate service to students, ultimately bridging the gaps between institutions, community-based organizations, and the students themselves.
