Northwest Education Access
Nicollette has been with NWEA as an Education Advocate since 2016. After her family immigrated from Samoa to Tacoma, her grandfather Laupula Roe instilled in her and her cousins the value of higher education. That message stuck with her as she became a first-generation college graduate to earn her AA from Highline College then her BA from the University of Washington. Much of her work has been done in the K-12 system serving young people and their families. She enjoys karaoke, seafood, astrology, and spending time with her family.
