Director, Media and Communications
Tanisha Jumper is the Director of Media and Communications for the City of Tacoma which includes oversight of TV Tacoma, Community Engagement and Tacoma 2025, the City wide strategic plan and vision. She is responsible for the implementation plan, working with community partners and residents, while monitoring the progress towards realizing the vision established by the community. Tanisha holds a Bachelor's degree in political science from Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and families including organizations like HeadStart and United Way of the Greater Dayton area. Tanisha is currently a member of several boards, serves as a mentor for Palmer Scholar, and is a mother of three children.
