Using Data to Strengthen a Network of Support for Opportunity Youth

“Opportunity Youth” are young people disengaged from high school, postsecondary, and/or the workforce. Students of color and those who have low-income are disproportionately disengaged from education. This session will examine who opportunity youth are in Pierce County and powerful strategies in supporting these youth. North West Education Access will share data from recent studies on opportunity youth and create space to reflect and take action in Tacoma to create a network of support for opportunity youth.
